Managing cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your computer’s hard drive at the request of the server running the website you are visiting. It contains information about browsing on the site’s pages. The purpose of the cookies placed when you visit the site is to ensure that the site functions optimally by storing information about the user for the duration of the session, to enable audience measurement statistics to be compiled and to enable advertising tailored to your interests to be sent out, and to improve the interactivity of the site via social networks.

On your computer, it is the browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.) that manages the cookies and receives the order to save them from the server. In this way, you can prevent cookies from being saved (but this will prevent access to many sites, or at least the use of their functions). Browsers allow you to find them, list them and even delete them. Even if you don’t delete them, they will disappear because they have an expiry date of several months or the ‘end of session’, i.e. the moment when you leave the site you were visiting.

Several types of cookies are used on the website:

– Strictly necessary cookies: these are essential for the website to function properly and cannot be deactivated from our systems. They are generally only activated in response to actions you perform that correspond to a request for services, such as configuring your confidentiality preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can configure your browser to block or alert you to the use of these cookies. However, if this category of cookies – which do not store any personal data – is blocked, certain parts of the site will not be able to function.

– Performance cookies: These cookies make it possible to determine the number of visits and sources of traffic to the website, in order to measure and improve its performance. All the information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymised. If you do not accept this category of cookies, we will not be able to know when you have visited our website.

– Functionality cookies: These cookies are used to improve the functionality and personalisation of our site. They may be defined by us or by third-party partners whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not accept these cookies, some or all of these services may not function properly.

– Cookies for targeted advertising: These cookies may be activated on our website by our advertising partners. They may be used by these companies to establish profiles of your interests and to offer you targeted advertising on other sites. They only work by identifying your browser and your device. If you do not accept this category of cookies, you will be offered advertising that is less targeted to your interests when browsing other websites.

In particular, the Site uses cookies from the Google group. For information on how Google uses the data collected via these cookies, please consult Google’s privacy policy and terms of use, which can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Updates

The data controller may amend this Policy from time to time. You are therefore invited to consult the honey-beeliz.com/privacy-policy/ web page regularly to check that you are in possession of the latest personal data processing policy of the data controller.
